Financial-abuse victims often purchase unsuitable services, products, real property, investments, annuities, loans and reverse mortgages. Victims are often cheated out of their retirement savings, and sometimes even their homes.

Neglect/Physical Abuse: Neglect and physical abuse covers a large spectrum of neglectful, violent or abusive conduct which results in impairment, pain or serious injury. Also, the improper use of drugs, physical restraints, forced feeding, or physical punishment may qualify as physical abuse.
